Viewpoints – Curatorial guidance and ecological measures in the art and natural landscape

The Symposion Lindabrunn is the second largest contiguous area of dry grassland on the Thermenlinie after the Perchtoldsdorfer Heide, with numerous rare animal and plant species such as the large cowbell, spring adonis, Austrian wreath gentian, yellow flax, the rare quendel snail and the yellow flax bee, which was only discovered in 2020.

In addition to sheep grazing, regular scrub clearance is of great importance for conservation. Help preserve this outstanding natural area!

Another special feature of the Symposion site are the numerous artistic sculptures set up in the valuable natural area. Natural beauty and works of art combine to create an impressive landscape that is also appreciated by many people seeking relaxation.

Target audience: Whether young or old, preference for works with precision and patience or those with strength and physical effort – there is a suitable work for everyone! Families with children are also very welcome.

Duration: As long as you have time and desire in the period from 10:00 – 13:00 and 14:00 – 17:00

Please bring along: Thick work gloves, pruning shears or loppers if available, saw or hoe, drink and snack, sun protection

Meeting point: 10:00 at the parking lot at the Symposion on Hernsteinerstraße

The maintenance work is carried out in cooperation with the Thermenlinie Landscape Conservation Association, the municipality of Enzesfeld-Lindabrunn (landowner) and the Symposion Lindabrunn Association (VSL).
