shared_care_artist_camp
The shared_care_artist_camp offers artists with care responsibilities the opportunity to spend time working with their families. Under the aegis of Stefanie Wuschitz, free space and time for work and family is created during the summer vacation. The on-site infrastructure enables artists to exchange ideas with other artists in a contemporary discursive environment – about professional as well as family-related issues – and to work on their own projects. Symposion Lindabrunn is an ideal environment for family-inclusive stays with its extensive natural area and the possibility to camp and move around outdoors. A shared childcare person will be hired by the Shared Care project team to provide half-day care and children’s programs during the residency. The second half of the day will be organized by the participating artists either in the form of joint activities with the children or as shared care time. The participating artists can offer group workshops for young and old in the afternoons. At the weekend, the doors to the studios are open and the artists present themselves and their work as part of a salon in the countryside. The selection and invitation is made by the Shared Care project team.
