During a short residency in Lindabrunn, Sara Zlanabitnig will develop a site-specific composition that explores the natural environment and its acoustic potential. As a flautist, she prefers to move in and between the fields of electronic and freely improvised new music. In doing so, she searches for unusual sounds, explores the possibilities of using effect pedals, prefers so-called false fingerings and sound biotopes of quarter tones, harmonics and multiphonics.
