Heidi Trimmel studied physics, landscape planning and digital art and obtained a doctorate in meteorology. In addition to artistic exhibitions and projects, research stays have taken her to Météo-France and the Norsk institutt for luftforskning. Since 2023 she has been working at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA).
