Wiebke Frerichs is a self-employed carpenter and holds a degree in cultural studies. As a member of the curatorial collective a7.ausstellungen, she was involved in the conception and realization of artistic projects and experimental art education formats. As a graphic designer, she created visual concepts for art and cultural projects before learning a new language to realize her ideas as part of her carpentry training. In 2022, she founded the collective RISS with Malin Walleser. Since then, her focus has been on bringing together the aspects of function, aesthetics and sustainability in workshops, art projects and products.
