born July 3, 1999, lives and works in Vienna. Theo Bartenberger is a photographer and installation artist. After training in photography at the Graphische, he has been studying at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in Judith Huemer’s class for Art and Intervention / Environments since 2020. In his artistic practice, he often combines the medium of photography with installation. His works address the relationship between the environment, human intervention in nature, and the effects of the Anthropocene.
Exhibitions include group exhibitions at the Silvanum Forest Museum, the Karlsplatz Christmas Market, and the Festival of Regions. In 2024, he presented works as part of the Climate Biennale.
