Sabine Marte was born in Feldkirch in 1967. She writes, performs, makes music and develops experimental video art for theater spaces, black boxes, white cubes, music clubs and living rooms. In addition to collaborative projects with the VolxtheaterKarawane, Gin Müller and Jan Machacek, among others, she is a member of several band projects such as SV DAMENKRAFT (2003-2008) and PENDLER (since 2006). At CLUB BURLESQUE BRUTAL she has performed as Madame Cameltoe from the very beginning. Sabine Marte has received numerous prizes and scholarships, including the 2009 State Scholarship for Video and Media Art and the Diagonale Prize for Innovative Cinema in 2010. Working with and on language is the starting point for her video/sound pieces and performances.
