Born in Innsbruck in 1979, Olivier Hölzl alias LIVIL completed his business studies in 2002 and initially worked in marketing. In 2008, he changed careers and studied painting in Johanna Kandl’s class at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Since then he has worked with many media. Based on an idea that would not let him go, he decided on a medium. Thanks to his now well-known large-format and elaborately cut stencils, which he stages either as light installations or in the form of murals, the artist travels the world.
At the Symposion Lindabrunn association, he designed the mural on the sanitary wing.
