Matthias Meinharter (born 1971 in Vienna, freelance artist since 2003, lives in Vienna) works in the field of conceptual media-art as well as in different performance and sound-art projects (e.g. “the vegetable orchestra” and “the institute of transacoustic research”). Installations, mechanical objects, sound generating machines, photos, videos, drawings, acoustics and performances are integral elements of his artwork.
