Claudia Rohrauer lives and works in Vienna. She studied at the School of Artistic Photography Friedl Kubelka Vienna and at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in the departments of Art and Photography and Video and Video Installation. Together with Lisa Rastl, she has been running the workshop for analog photography at the University of Applied Arts Vienna since 2021. She conducts research using artistic-scientific methods on the topic of the sustainable darkroom and non-toxic photographic chemicals. In 2020, she received the Outstanding Artist Award for Artistic Photography from the BMKÖS and the Recognition Award for Photography from the Province of Lower Austria.
During her production stay at Symposion Lindabrunn, she will be researching plant photo development and holding a workshop on the subject at “Limits of Resilience”.
