Coloring stories in their heads enables children to explore fantasy worlds and makes the seemingly impossible possible. Stories and figures are created and first put on paper using the charcoal pencil technique. The focus is on creating and inventing stories. Mixing and discovering your own colors (acrylic paints) creates exciting works, which then come to completion on the canvas in their splendor of color. Aim: To stimulate the imagination. Putting pictures and feelings on paper. Practicing painting techniques. Practicing learning words.

Course for parents and kids 6-12 years
Still life (we draw a picture together)

The still life has a high status in art history. After discussing a few examples from art history and contemporary art, students create their own still life. Here the eye for the harmonious arrangement of the different shapes and colors is trained. Sketches are then made with a charcoal pencil to get a feel for the detail and selection of the motif. The colors desired for the work are then mixed from the 3 basic colors. A very personal world of colors is created. The painting is then finished on a canvas using all the possibilities of acrylic paint. Aim: To train the eye for shapes and colors, to look at the objects from all sides and perspectives. Communicate creatively together.

Artistic painting releases feelings and thoughts. Working with colors and shapes takes us into new or perhaps even forgotten worlds. New experiences are made with different techniques and experiences are reconnected.

Info & registration:
Maximum number per course 10 persons. Material costs are already included in the price. Your child will need a snack, a rain jacket and sturdy shoes. Please wear clothes that can get dirty. The courses primarily teach artistic methods and leave plenty of scope for imagination and creativity!
The courses take place at the VSL Lindabrunn club grounds.
