Evgeny Ignashev is a sound/audiovisual artist and composer of electroacoustic and electronic music. A particular focus of his work is on psychoacoustic effects, spatial concepts, extended playing techniques, AI, generative art techniques and sound transformations. His projects range from acousmatic and live-electronic multi-channel compositions with instruments/voice to improvised and collectively composed performances with numerous ensembles, sound installations and film/app music. He lives in Vienna and studied sound art, electro-acoustic composition and new media at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw).
