Irene Nemeth, born in 1962, grew up in the countryside in southern Lower Austria, studied medicine from 1980 – 1988, working as a doctor since 1990, employed at the Wiener Neustadt Regional Hospital as a specialist in physical medicine, active in various NGOs and citizens’ initiatives since around 2014, most recently with the platform Vernunft-statt-Ost “Umfahrung” [reason-instead of- “bypass East”]. Married to Wendelin Munter, one adult daughter.
