Philipp Sattler is an architect, artist, and researcher whose work addresses spatial morphologies, property law, and the agricultural and industrial landscapes of Austrian hinterlands. His projects Trembling Worlds and Life of Crops establish the spatial and juridical frameworks the project deploys to read the Koralm landscape. His research-based exhibition practice – including Sans Souci and Traces of Iron – addresses permanent global war, mining, and infrastructural violence through exhibiting as investigative method. He is completing his PhD at the Royal College of Art in London.
